Wealth and Happiness

When it comes to wealth, opinions vary. Some holds that wealth is exceedingly significant which, to a large extent, depends on someone’s social statues. Others, however, seem to argue that one’s status lies on various factors such as morality, behavior, value and so on. To my point of view, it is not only confined to if wealth decides status but also to the pursuit of wealth inevitable leads to both of positive and negative results. In fact, wealth in itself is positive things, which is up to people how to regard and use.

 Currently, it is widely acknowledged that the mount of money one possessed plays an increasingly important role in determining the happy factors. Even some people just regard making money as single happiness. Of course, what is real happiness on earth? Only the wearer knows where the shoes pains. I feel happy when all my relatives are healthy, when my study makes progress, when my acquaintances get promotion. Maybe a sunny day can make me feel sweet as well.

There is an old saying: money should be obtained and spent in a reasonable, wise and legitimate way. Only in this way, can wealth has the positive effect on happiness. It can be seen from one of my friends that he often puts it to us: “I work hard and dare to try. But I am not workaholic at all and I never make money with illegal methods. These are my principles.” Actually, his words tell us that we must stick to moderate principle when we walk the road of pursuing wealth. In this case, wealth can bring people happiness as well as, in return happiness will support people a flow of power.
