Small Park
                                                                                           
    Actually, I didn’t travel many places. Being required to write one assay to describe one beautiful place that I have visited before must be a task for me.
However, when I see this title, the first place I want to mention is the small park which is not far away from my home. Because my homesick, I miss that place very much. It can’t be called a marvelous place, but it holds many memories of mine.
    The park is not very huge and its entrance is not so distinct. You should walk into one small alley, you will find the park at the end of the alley. Though small as the park is, it is always full of people.
    When you enter the park, you will be attracted by two beautiful pillars. These pillars are covered by the patterns which are carved in the shape of two dragons. As we all know, our Chinese like and respect dragon since ancient time.
    Keeping going along the path, there is a lake at the center of the park. The water in the lake is always as clean and quiet as one mirror lying in the center part. In the daytime, the lake is shining when it is bathing in the sunshine and we can see golden fishes swimming in the lake. At night, those beautiful lights around the lake will be turned on and decorate this lake. Including the moon light, this lake is twinkling at night, just like there are thousands of stars falling into the lake.
    On the right side of the lake, there is one so-called little hill which is full planted of trees. I like the full green scenery in front my eyes. The leaves will turn into yellow and red when autumn comes every year. This hill will be a wonderful colorful oil painting which is the highlight of this small park in fall.
    When you climb up the hill, you can have the bird-view of this city. The small town is lessened and be pictured by your eyes. You also can enjoy the waves of soft wind at the top of the little hill.
    On the left side of the lake is the square with many interesting fountains. Those fountains change their shapes and colors all the time which gives us one marvelous show every evening. Of course there will be another highlight in this square. There are so many couples dancing in this square. I like that atmosphere very much as it brings love and vigor to everybody around the square. At the same time, it is one kind of exercise and will cultivate our taste.
    Walking pass the square, there is another part of this park. There are many rockeries at that part. They are all in different figures and sizes. This of course is the kingdom for children to play games. Children climb the rockeries and jump down from the top of them again and again just for fun. So, this is the paradise full of laughs.
    Kiosks are everywhere can be found at the park. You can enjoy the whole view of this park, the people and the natural scenery. The kiosks are cute with red lanterns hung upon them. The roofs of these kiosks are clothed by neon tubes which makes them charming at night.
    This is the park near my home, my favorite place. I still remember that I will go to that park to have a walk with my parents, which moment is the sweetest and happiest for me. I miss my parents and that park very much.
