Generation Gap

Try to look back on the first time we argued with our parents. Try to think over why we have so many different thoughtswith our parents. Then, we will attribute it to generation gap. With the childen's growing up, their opinions are changing because of different experiences and cognitions. Thereby, childen performed a kind of disobedience in behavior to their parents. That's we called generation gap.What we need to do is to narrow the gap between childen and parents. There are two pieces of advice: First of all, we should learn to understand our parents.We sometimes complain that our parents do not understand us.Before we think like this, we need ask ourselves. Did we understand them? Every parents hope their childen have a bright future.What they do is to protect us. They want us to be a better person.They have done all things they can do for us. So, we should be thankful and respectful and we have no conditions to understand our parents. Secondly,we should communicate with our parents more often.Good communication can have an unexpected effect on narrowing generation gap.If we have something confused, we can talk to our parents for advice. Moreover,We can express what we want and talk about new things to them.They will be delight to listen to us.Even though we have opposite viewpoint with them, we still can discuss it.Try to make them accept your opinion,but no argue and quarrel.Communication makes parents-childen relationship more harmonious. To sum up,narrowing generation gap is not a hard work. We just need two words:understanding and communication.
