Recently, escaping from the big cities like Beijing and Shanghai has became more and more popular. Low cost and pressure drive people to live in small cities or towns and enjoy the easy and peace. However, big cities like Beijing and Shanghai will offer people a convenient and colorful life.

First of all, the transportation in big cities is convenient. Subways and buses start running very early and until late into the night. In big cities, if subways and buses end running, there are taxies anyway, which run 24 hours a day. So you do not have to worry about work late and can not go home. In addition to a wide variety of transports, overpasses, underpasses and loops are built everywhere in big cities to facilitate traffics.

Besides, there are more educational resources and better educational level in big cities. Because of superior conditions and high salary, most of good teachers are willing to come to big cities. Thus schools in big cities have more and more good teachers, while other schools have fewer. Furthermore, the number of good schools in big cities is much more than other places. For example, Beijing has six 985 universities, but Zhengzhou has none.

Moreover, there are better medical condition and sound medical care system in big cities. There are numerous famous hospitals and doctors in big cities. Taking Beijing for instance, there are many national professional rank first hospitals in Beijing, such as orthopedic first Jishuitan Hospital and ophthalmic first Tongren Hospital. And if you have Beijing resident identity card, you just need to pay 10% to 30% of the medical expenses, which is very cheap.

Furthermore, there are much more job opportunities in big cities. For one thing, people in big cities pursue a high quality life, and they are willing to pay to make themselves feel good. This leads to a large number of various kinds of service industries. For another thing, there are also different kinds of factories and malls in big cities because of dense population. So it is very easy for people to find a job in big cities.

Actually, Living in big cities, people will certainly complain about the traffic jams .But traffic jams is inevitable, even living in small cities or towns, especially during rush hours. And living in small cities offers its own set of unpleasant as well: inefficient transportation, information occlusion, monotonous life, among other unpleasant.

People have different choices for life, but those who escape from big cities give up the opportunity of enjoying the convenient transportation, more educational resources, better medical condition and more job opportunities. In conclusion, if you want a convenient and meaningful life, you had better live in big cities.
